HIGHER PARKING TAXES = HIGHER PARKING RATES
This amounts to a 67% increase in less than 2 years and means that it will cost more to park and result in greater job and population loss which results in an even further erosion of the City’s tax base.
If you are opposed to City Council Bill 10-0471, which would increase the parking tax from 16% to 20%, please provide your name and e-mail address below. Your message will be sent, via e-mail, to the Mayor, City Council President and all City Council members.
I am opposed to City Council Bill 10-0471 and also oppose any proposal to increase the parking tax.
If you would like to voice your opposition to the proposed parking tax increase in person the Taxation, Finance and Economic Development Committee will be holding a public hearing on Thursday May 13, 2010 at 10:00 am in the Reeves Conference Room on the 4th Floor of City Hall, located at 100 N. Holliday Street, Baltimore, MD 21202.
